Handling Extremes, Part 1 – James 5:13-16

Dr. White has been walking through the book of James, and today he comes to a section in which James speaks to some extreme circumstances of life.  What do you do when you are the recipient of this world’s evil, or have to face your challenges with a stalwart faith, or have a terminal illness?  These are not normal circumstances, but they are circumstances that we must face from time to time.  Dr. White addresses those in these extremes in today’s broadcasts.

Be Patient, Part 3 – James 5:7-12

James 5:7-12.  Over the last two broadcasts, Dr. White has given the exhortation toward patience, sharing two reasons:  the coming of the Lord and the character of the Lord.  Today he continues on this theme looking especially at James 5:12, “But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you may not fall under judgment.”  Listen in to see the meaning of this important verse.
